Following the success of ‘Cows about Cambridge’ in 2021, this trail features 31 captivating giraffes that promise to capture the imaginations of Cambridge residents and visitors.
Not only does the trail showcase spectacular art, but all proceeds support Break, a charity dedicated to raising the aspirations of young care leavers in Cambridge and Cambridgeshire.
Join us in spring 2024 as we encourage you to look up at these towering giraffes and see them as a symbol of hope, standing tall for the limitless potential of young people with care experience.
Make sure to also enter Grand Arcade’s competition to imagine your own giraffe and get it turned into an adorable soft toy (more details below).

Thirty one giraffe sculptures, each sponsored by a local business, are towering over the city for 10 weeks from 21st March until 2nd June 2024.
This trail organised by Cambridge BID, with Wild in Art, is raising funds for Break Charity which supports young people in care, leaving care and on the edge of care across East Anglia.

DESIGN A RED CARPET MOVIE START GIRAFFE
Like the Dinky Doors artists and their Metropogiraffolis (make sure to check it out in Grand Arcade, near Oliver Bonas shop), imagine a giraffe who plays in your favourite movie…
To enter our competition:
- Download our entry form and print it at home (or find it in our centre)
- Draw your best Blockbuster Giraffe!
- Email a photo of your drawing and contact details to competitions@grandarcade.co.uk
- The winner will have their submission turned into an adorable soft toy!
