Fashion Flutters from Grand Arcade's Shopping Diva....

It's my favourite time of year. The sun is shining, my holiday is booked and Grand Arcade's summer sales are on. Hurrah!
What a wonderful opportunity to fill my wardrobe, apartment and bathroom beauty cabinet with all sorts of loveliness at a fraction of the original price.
As a girl who has a taste for the finer things in life I am so excited about the up to 50 per cent off sale at the ever-stylish White Company. I have been waiting for the right moment to invest in more 200 thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen and I think that time has come. As well as the crisp cotton sheets, I have spotted the prettiest beach towels which will match my bikini perfectly when I go poolside in Provence this year. And I have my greedy little eye on the beautiful Beth mirror, reduced from £300 to £210 - what a snip, and the most elegant, glossy ivory Alice bed with its pretty fairytale swirly frame which has 50 per cent off at Laura Ashley. It would be rude not to buy it and they will brighten up my bedroom no end.
But back to frocks, shoes and handbags, ladies... The Hobbs sale means I can treat myself to some fabulous flirty summer dresses and know that the Isadora dress in marine blue and lime silk will see me through the season nicely. I'm plumping for a pair of sunshine yellow Kelly sandals, a la Grace, and am in search of a suitably pretty clutch bag and whispy silk scarf to complete my slightly retro look.
Of course John Lewis will be where I am heading from June 28th when the diva of all department stores goes into sale. My list of ‘must haves' is so large at this store that I will require help from friends and family just to carry my bags.
